A few years ago I started using Agave nectar as a sweetener in my tea, and I have never looked back. Its mild, light flavor is an ideal additional to various teas as it doesn't detract from their flavor. I've tried several different Agave nectar flavors, and of all of them I liked the Madhava brand the best. This particular size works the best for me, as it usually lasts me several weeks. Highly recommended.

I learned about this little gem from Alton Brown's Margarita recipe.. no doubt you will enjoy this instead of Simple Syrup. Just mix about a tea spoon of it with the juice from one orange, one lime, lime zest and 2-3 oz of tequila and ice and you'll have a great margarita! (change ratios based on sweet:sour ratio desired.) Enjoy!

Let's Do. Organic Coconut Flour is made from certified organic fresh coconuts. After separating the rich, white coconut meat from its shell, we use pressurized steam to remove most of its fat. We thoroughly dry the defatted coconut before milling it to a fine cream colored flour. Although its texture is very similar to wheat flour, Let's Do. Organic Coconut Flour is completely gluten free, high in fiber and more than 20% protein. Organic Coconut Flour is wonderful in baked goods, and delicious in your favorite smoothies (with the benefit of adding healthful protein and fiber). Let's Do. Organic Coconut Flour may replace wheat flour completely in many recipes with great results (see our Brownies recipe below for a perfect example). In other recipes you may only want to replace up to 25% percent of the wheat or other grain flour with coconut flour. When you replace other flour in recipes, be sure to increase your liquid by the same measure. For example: if your recipe calls for 2 cups of flour and 1 cup of water, you could use ½ cup coconut flour plus 1½ cups any other flour, and then you must add an additional ½ cup water to total 1½ cups liquid. I had been using Bob's Red Mill coconut flour for all my gluten-free baking but decided to try this brand because it was cheaper. And, let's just say you get what you pay for!! This coconut "flour" isn't flour at all... it's coconut meal. It's much more course than Bob's Red Mill and leaves all my baked goods with a undesirable grainy texture. I would absolutely not recommend this brand, however, I do recommend coconut flour in general. It's an absolutely wonderful substitute for grain flours.

Based on the reviews, I bought both Bob's and Let's Do... I made pancakes with both and we like Let's Do... better. I found the pancakes to be less grainy with Let's Do... and they simply had a better taste. The pancakes from both kinds of coconut flour were fluffy and tasty. The bottom line is you might have to try both to get the one you need.

Yes, this flour is not as fine, however it is absolutely the best for my favorite banana muffins. The muffins come out angle-soft inside, have nice texture, and a good-looking golden crust. I use

I am a huge fan of coconut and chocolate is my weakness. The manufacturer mixes both to create a pretty good product with Cacao Bliss.
When I first received this jar, I was not too impressed. The appearance of the product was that of stale/old chocolate. It was crumbly when I tried to dip my spoon in it. I had anticipated a creamy substance. This product is not creamy out of the jar. Unless the entire jar has been left in the sun or in a hot spot, don't expect to dip your knife or spoon in and spread it around on a piece of toast.
In terms of eating options, I do recommend heating the product. While I now enjoy eating it in its solid form out of the jar, heating some of the product creates a substance that can be spread easily on toast. I also like taking shavings of this product and sprinkling it on cupcakes. The coconut and chocolate flavor is a subtle addition to any sweet treat.

I give it a 5 star for taste, but a 3 star for price. It really costs too much for what it is. I recently purchased a mini food processor so I can make this myself using shredded coconut and cocoa. (Can also make coconut butter this way and save yourself big bucks!)

This is my first time trying the Artisana brand (comes highly recommended); I normally use Nutiva Certified Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil -- 54 fl oz or the Trader Joe's brand (which is virgin, not extra virgin coconut oil). I am a regular user of coconut oil but had never tried it mixed with sugar cane free, vegan cacao. It's definitely healthy. Taste-wise, it's a LOT less sweet than Nutella Hazelnut Chocolate Spread 13 Oz. - which I sadly love! - so this will take some getting used to. But, in trying to cut back on processed foods and refined sugar, this is a good trade off.
