Organic Alfalfa Sprout Seeds & Sprouting Instructions In my younger days I used to grow sprouts in between paper towels. I recently wanted to get back to doing my own sprouts, but really didnt wantto go the paper towel route again. I researched a few styles and purchased this sprouter. I am quite pleased with the ease. I agree with the first reviewer that the hulls will not come out with the lid on, but it isnt difficult to add water and gently swish the sprouts. The hulls will float to the top for you to discard. I have my second batch of sprouts under way. I like it and would recomend this product. Organic Alfalfa Sprout Seeds & Sprouting Instructions I bought the sprouting jar with lid and the seeds. Both the jar and the seeds came with instructions on how to grow sprouts. One set of the instructions was vague, but the other set work well. The seeds sprout well and require little attention other than rinsing and draining a couple times a day. The instructions say that when the sprouts are ready you can fill the jar with water and the seed hulls will float out the lid - the openings in the lid are too small for this but I just put them in a bowl of water and they float to the top. Otherwise great product and it works well. |
